Yes I know its the Mail, but Rob Shepherd is saying
Sullivan wants rid of Carroll

West Ham will put Andy Carroll up for sale in January.

But just who do the Hammers offload the injury-stricken striker to?

Newcastle would take him back, but only if he agreed to drop his wages - which are in the region of £85,000-a-week.

They would only be prepared to pay a transfer fee around £8million for a player they sold to Liverpool for £35m.

West Ham paid £17m for Carroll two summers ago.

I am told co-owner David Sullivan wants Carroll off the books.

Stoke may be interested. Or possibly QPR

IF this is true, then its another collision course for Allardyce and Sullivan.

Fat Sam will be loathe to sell him.

Cant blame us if we do since he can't lay off the yayo and will keep being suspended but an in form Carroll is just what our side needs. Would be a shame to let him go.

Reckon we would have got the points today with a fit Andy Carroll. Still has a role to play.

I agree with that 100% as he is quality, but for the word fit.

Unfortunately he isn't fit, has never been fit and is unlikely to ever be fully fit for any decent length of time again for us imho, hence why it would be wise to get something for him now and reinvest into the squad.

no one in their right mind would sell a player theyve been nursing back to health for the best part of two seasons for a knock down fee. he can still do a major job for us. sell him when hes proven his worth again, as undoubtedly he will.

Sullivan is right...

Tosspot of a person...wasted his potential via self abusive behaviour...sell him for anything over 10...free up his wages and stupidly long contract at 80k+ a week...

Well done Sullivan...the brains of the Ownership Trio...

Do you have any evidence whatsoever his injuries are anything to do with his private life?

One of West Ham's worse ever signings even though some people are still fixated on his £35m transfer fee and believe we bought a bargain superstar.

Allardyce still leaving before the season starts?

Nicey 10:07 Sun Sep 28
Re: Yes I know its the Mail, but Rob Shepherd is saying
Everything Allardyce wants to do with a football team has left which is good.

Fair play to him for reducing his stubbornness for the betterment of the team and working with players that he didn't want. Perhaps even he is learning something new about football that he might even take into his new job next term.
